Yay me and my son had a great easter holidays, we spent a lot more time together than expected, as he didn’t stay with his dad for a week. We did lots of things together and the house still looks good :-) the only blight on the whole week was that my son has been a little ill, like me, ah well.

My friends and family tell me that I am a good Mummy, but that isn’t good enough! I want to be GREAT Mummy. I’ve been a single Mum for two and a half years now, and do struggle sometimes with doing housework. My house is always clean, but the motivation I need to tidy up more regularly, do the ironing before it becomes a mountain, do the washing up every day instead of every other day – so my sons home is the very best it can be. PLUS i deperately need to ‘spring clean’ ughh. Also, and most importantly, I need to spend more ‘quality’ time with my son, doing things like painting and colouring and making and reading and etc. I made this resolve, funnily enough, some weeks ago, and am already improving (thankfully).
A happy child makes for a happy mother which makes for a happy child – the most important thing in the world :-)
