get a skateboard

Gah! I still don’t have money for a skateboard.. :(

Use to skate in high school until I went all hermit and started living in my room for days at a time… Going to try get back into it. I’m major poor (poor is an understatement) right now so I’m not sure how I’m going to pull this one off, but it’s one of the next things I’m going to put money towards.. Skateboard? Or fix my bike..? Hmmmm!

I finally got it for my Christmas gift from my dad and its keen!

it was almost spur of the moment. i know i’m two weeks behind, but this time it really is better late than never. or better “somewhat late” than “really late”.
i had checked a store downtown a few weeks ago, but they didn’t have any blank decks and i don’t feel like paying extra for some lame graphics. i decided to go to another store in between my house and the store downtown and found an amazing deal. it was about $60 less than i thought it would be, so that’s $60 less guilt i have about buying a skateboard with my phone- and internet- bill money.
it does feel a bit strange. i haven’t had one in two years, and i feel like i don’t even know how it works. i rode it around my apartment a bit and i think my mad skills will return without much delay.

to get a skateboard. 12 days ago, a friend and i decided that we will get skateboards by the end of the month and spend the rest of the summer skating. lame that i actually have to make this a goal, write it down, and save up to do it considering that a long time ago in a galaxy far far away (high school) i don’t think i went a single day without skateboarding. now i’m just some lame old man. i have 18 days to change that.
