and I hope one day that I shall. For now though I’m moving it off my list and incorporating it into a bigger goal. Hopefully one day it will be marked as: “I’ve done this”!!!

How I did it: I drove. A couple years ago I was mad at a boyfriend who always acted like he knew everything and kept talking about Seattle. I had never been, and living in Vancouver, knew it wasn't that long of a drive. So I drove across the border to Seattle, drove by the Space Needle and through downtown. Then I got gas and drove home.I got home at 3 in the morning but was so pleased at my little adventure. Later, i went back for longer trips -- it's … Read how I did it…
How I did it: i've always been interested in going to washington...something about it seems so beautiful...all the rain and green. i have a friend who is stationed up in washington so i asked him if i could visit. i thought about it and decided to just DO IT! searched around online for a good price on a plane ticket, bought my plane ticket, and just took off for a week. seattle is a beautiful place. How I did it: I got to go in may with some friends from work. It was the first real impulsive vacation. Okay as impulsive as 3-4 months of planning can be, but the literal plans were the result of "Hey, we should do this..." Read how I did it…
How I did it: I'm in Seattle right now! Ha! It is pretty cold, coming here after L.A was a bit harsh but I love the feel of the city, it's very different from what I've seen in L.A. I love it. I was first disappointed about the city but I then started to love it very much :) Read how I did it…

How I did it: I think I have it easy because I am lucky enough to have an aunt, uncle and three cousins who live right on Lake Washington. I cannot count the number of times I have been there, and I try to go at least once a year. As soon as I can save for another plane ticket, I am on my way out there again. Read how I did it…

This seems like something I should do sometime before I move there is 1.8 years. I’ve never been there, although I have been to Idaho and Oregon, so I have somewhat an idea of the climate, although I know that even though those states are so close that Washington is in a class of it’s own when it comes to weather. I also want to visit because I want to make sure this city is everything I’ve read it to be. And, well, I just want to get away. Take a mini-break all on my own to a strange land. Or as strange as I can afford money-wise and time-wise. The hardest part for this goal will just be finding the time. It has to happen sometime before Summer 2010, though. Just by my standards.

I have met someone that challenges my mind and my soul. He is everything and more. I am going to seattle to see him in a few weeks. Cross your fingers and send me some cheers….this is the one. When I complete this goal, I will be completing a couple of others as well.
So I didn’t make it to Seattle this year, but I will someday. I can’t move there because unfortunately the city does not suit me career wise, but I will save money, and I will go there and have the best time of my life.

I just made my reservation. The countdown begins. Flying solo and then joining others who are seeking personal healing also.
Okay, so I really want to live in Seattle, but I have never even been there, but there is something drawing towards this city. So what I would really like to do first is to visit Seattle, at least for a week, and see if this city is everything I am making it up to be. I think it will be. I am currently looking at plane tickets online, and comparing prices. My goal is to make it there by August. I heard that that’s the best time to visit Seattle, because of the weather.

I’m planning to go Seattle on this summer (”,)
Josh ...and life just rolls on like a river.
My wife and I visited Seattle for four and a half days for our fifth anniversary (March 20th). We had a lot of fun. We stayed in the Lower Queen Anne area (near Seattle Center, which we visited). We did the normal tourist stuff (the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, and the Olympic Sculpture Park). We also got a lot of good eats. We rode the monorail back and forth between Seattle Center the Westlake Center once. The coolest thing was just walking around and hitting up coffee shops and used book stores and other neat little shops. There were several things we wanted to do while in the city that we didn’t get to do (the Underground Tour, the Seattle Art Museum and the Seattle Asian Art Museum), so another trip to Seattle is a must. I really enjoyed myself there.

...I’ve already been to Seattle… but I only drove through then. I’m leaving at 7:00 am (eastern time) on Wednesday the 18th (44 hours to go, but who is counting?). My wife and I are making a trip for our 5th anniversary (the 20th). We’ll be there for 5 days and then leaving on an Amtrak train to make our way back home. So many things I want to see and do in Seattle (I’ve put a bunch of them on my 43Places page). Anyways, I’ll make sure to take plenty of photos and to write about it when I get back. Should be a great trip. I love the Pacific Northwest.
I’m lucky enough to have a friend there so all I have to do is buy the plane ticket and come to see her. She’s from Seattle and knows the city so well I’m sure she’s going to be the perfect tour guide!
I’ll be there at the end of March! So soon!
