move to Connecticut

We have a great apartment! It’s in Trumbull, CT. My fiance has been living there for about a month and I am so jealous. Tomorrow afternoon I’m heading up there for Thanksgiving and it will be my first time to stay more than a few hours and to actually stay overnight.

CT is home. Have been in Texas way, way, way too long. By 2010, I will again be a Connecticut resident! I hope the time flies by.

I lived in CT all of my life. Believe me when I tell that it sucks here. There is absolutely no excitement except in Hartford. We don’t get any bad weather.So it’s pretty boring.

I moved to Connecticut after living in Missouri for 20 years and upstate New York for 2 years. It’s definitely been an adjustment.
Things are squished together here, towns are right on top of each other, and driving is a nightmare. Also people here have the mentality that the way it’s done in CT is the way it’s done everywhere else (or should be)...Oh, and one more thing, it’s very expensive to live here…but all in all I don’t think it’s any better or worse than anywhere else.
