I think this is a fading tradition that should be preserved. Newsy letter, winter wishes…we all need some nice mail during the dark days of winter.
As a Jew, I get to practice a bit. Rosh Hashanah is super soon, and it’s traditional to send New Year’s greetings. I’m hoping to make 5-10 cards this weekend and get them out before the holiday.
Hoping.

I have 5 days until my challenge expires, and since I really don’t want to send everyone Valentine’s cards instead, I should get on this.
Things to do:
1. Take a decent photos of my kittens to send out with the cards
2. Possibly photoshop Santa hats onto said kitten picture
3. Pick out holiday cards – need 20-30?
4. Compile list of who to send cards to, and addresses!
5. Write greetings in cards
6. Stamp & Mail
7. Victory Dance!
Alright – this weekend is go time!

I seem to buy Holiday cards every year and then never send them! Not this year, though. I’ve been looking around for a cute card to send, and planning a card-writing evening with my cousin (holiday movie, cups of cocoa, and getting through that stack of cards!). It’s my first year out of college and on my own, so I think it’s important to keep in touch. Hoping that sending off a card to friends and family will be a good start.
