I own my first hamster when i was 14yr old, and i raised it in my school lab (my mom hate pets so i cant bring her home…) Its a dark brown syrian female i named Alice. Being in a family that is not used to rearing any kinds of pet makes it a bit hard for me to learn about hamsters, but as time goes by I am now very comfortable with them and really love animals too.
Syrian hamsters are very docile,each have unique personality, cute and independent. Taking care of them is very easy and watching and playing with them give alot of joy _^ I now have 3 long fur males and a female. The female (Reika) gave birth to 7 healthy pups on 20th Oct and since i could not afford to rare all of them, i sold it to other pet lovers. I’m suspecting a 2nd batch to be delivered by next week, so might sell the babies again too.
I met a few newbies who bought the babies from me, they are nervous at first, but as i share with them on how to take care of the babies, they are willing to give their best on it. Its gonna be fun and meaningful having a cute furball or two by your side, so i hope more people will have own hamster ^_
