What an immense country with the best trekking in the world. Highly recommended.
I first wante to visit Nepal after reading a missionary biography from Drs. Tom & Cynthia Hale. I had the opportunity to go last year, and I took it. Some of the reasons that drew me, was the exotic tales I read, the grand majestic beauty of the world’s highest peaks, and the strength of character the Nepali seemed to possess. Although my actual experience did not match my idealized pictures, I had a wonderful time. My favorite memories revolve around the beautiful people I was blessed to meet. Radiant smiles, stories of hardship borne with dignity and thankfulness, hospitality and friendliness offered without strings…I loved it and glad that I accomplished one of my life dreams. :)
