it is a little hard to do 3 days of lower body resistance training…. i did one workout today… it was alright.

Worth doing!

I did a nice weights workout today.

Triceps
chest press
quad raises at 21lbs each…
hip abductor and adductor (ow.)
leg press at 160 (!! yay me)
Shoulders
back stuff…(lat pulldown)
Balance/wobble board for a few minutes…its a lot less challenging now.
and some of those hanging in the air abdominal exersises.
My low back still feels tight and stiff, but I think its getting better.

Worth doing!

was very disrupted by visiting Grandma, so I only apparently got one strength workout in.

So #1 for this week:

Arms/chest/ and one plank and some crunches. Not Fab, but done done done.
More Wednesday.

upper body with Trainer. Again, he brought me close to tears. This pushing on the weight with his body weight is killing me. I’m not so strong. I need to get a bit stronger. I don’t know how though.

Trainer wanted to do upper body for the third week in a row, I refused, so we did legs. Pain, I tell you, intense pain.

First squats with free weights….

then the torturesome hack squats. (ouch ouch)
then some more squats.

Then
calf raises on the gastroc machine. thats when the pain began, well ok, so thats when the pain became a little more intense.

I am not loving my trainer right now, but I know he’s doing the right things. Seems it was a short workout, but it killed me.

Did arms today.
triceps
chest press
shoulder press
lat pulldown
more shoulders
and then
the plank.
and about 40 crunches.
really need to up the crunching.

Better workout today. It was unpleasant, but I did it…
This may be confusing to people who actually know anything about weight training. SOmetimes I am unsure of what machine I am using. I do know how to use it, but not sure what to call it.
So:

triceps: at 40 lbs
lat pull down at 60 lbs
Shoulders: at 20 lbs
Chest press at 25 lbs
more shoulders at 25 lbs
different shoulders at 40

spent time on the wobble board, wobbling…
and then did crunches 50
and the plank…
Its enough.

Not sure if I want to count it. I didn’t really do an organized lifting…

Quads at 20 lbs (trainer was working nearby so I didn’t want to cheat and do 15)

Quad stabilizer one set at 12.5

Hamstrings at 50 lbs.

Hip adductor and abductor.

one set of squats on the half swiss ball.
20 situps.
really not my day and I will make it up on Sunday with another go at the weights.

Not a good day at all for T-J at the gym

Weights with Trainer. I wanted to die, and or kill him. I did neither.

Neither one of us had a good day I think.

But I knocked it out. Shoulders, chest…mostly all day.

I gotta stop complaining though.
