mom’s uncle passed away a couple of days ago. He would come to visit his children in CA every now and then, and whenever I happened to be there he’d eagerly invite me to stay over and we used to play backgammon. For some reason luck was on my side in most of the games we played, and the look on his face when that happened was priceless…

scent of soap reminds me of my youngest uncle’s wedding; I was 6 at the time. I think it was the first wedding that I attended as a human being :). And then, there was this comedy show at the wedding for entertainment that one of my cousins and I picked up and performed in a few family gatherings afterwards. He would take the leading role, and I was the sidekick. I still wonder how he got me involved in that! Needless to say, my career as an actor pretty much ended there, but I still remember lines from that show, and it still makes me smile :) 6 years ago

cartoons like this one were what we used to watch as kids. The soundtrack became (and still is) the anthem of idiocy. :)
I recently found their link, and I’m having fun with the memories of childhood. :) 6 years ago
