get my son ready for the new school year

The day went exceedingly well, if I may say so. Am happy to see him settling down into the new school year. I hope this year will be the year that both me and my son can patiently work together so that he can do better in his studies. Must dig deep for patience…

Ammar is set for a brand new school year. I’m on leave today to make sure his first day went well. Bet he’s sleepy and slightly disoriented. Who wouldn’t.. after a 2-month long holiday.

The only thing I forgot to do where this goal is concerned was to get his hair cut. But it’s no big deal, we’ll sort that out later today.

Yesterday we shopped for new school uniform, one new bag, one pair of new shoes and some stationery items. That set me back quite a bit, but my son was delighted to get all these new things.. really getting into the groove of the new school year.

Next, school registration.. fees. Must get cracking on this first thing next week.

• Buy school books, shirt and pants, new bag, stationery, shoes
• Confirm his registration and class for next year

Shouldn’t be too hard, but no doubt this will cost me some money :P
