How I did it: I spent months on eBay and in O2 shops staring gloomily at the price tag. I'm going abroad this year so couldn't take out an 18 month contract and the price tag is faar too much for a poor student.Luckily a guy at my mum's work was selling off his original 8GB iPhone. It's in perfect condition and he sold it to me for only £100 :) Read how I did it…

How I did it: I saved up for the cost of the phone ($325 with tax) and then saved up a few months worth of the data plan ($30 per month). Didn't take very long at all. Read how I did it…

I so love my iphone, I got it around Christmas. I had all the money that I got, but was still short. But then I somehow won the fillup for safety bingo at work, which gave me another $100. I ordered it that day and have loved my life in a box ever since.

:D I am ready to be the proud owner of a new 3G iPhone with all its glorious capabilities. Mostly because, I would have a camera at all times, always know where I am and where to go with the GPS system and easy directions, and access to Pandora and youtube! all in one! Sa..weet.
I actually purchased my iphone last week, but unfortunately it’s not in my possession. :( I didn’t want to wait 3-4 hours in line at the apple store to get mine, so I went to at&t and had mine back ordered. It’s been almost a week now. When I purchased it, the clerk said 5-10 business days, so… we’ll see. Patience is a virtue.. I hope. hahaha

I started my summer job yesterday, which means I have some money coming my way. I am going to get a lot of hours next week, hopefully around 40, so I will have saved for most of my iPhone by then. Next I will save up some money for the monthly bill. I should have it all saved up for in three to four weeks.
Goodbye Windows Mobile…

I’m already tied to a contract with o2 (uk) till autumn this year so got to wait till then. I’d rather have a 3G one anyway, so I’ll wait and see what happens when Apple release iPhone number 2.
Until then it’s save save save.

Hello all,
Owning this beautiful phone is simply amazing. Also apple release an SDK so that developers can now create native applications for the iphone. If you all ever get a chance to purchase one, make sure you can some protective gear just incase you drop it.
The only issue I found with the phone is the edge network isn’t that fast and the phone should be 3G based phone.
Kind regards.
