be a hobo

I definitely want to spend a while doing this, I like to dumpster dive, squat, and do whatever it takes to survive, now I just have to get kicked out of my house so I’ll have a reason to be a one.

After being kicked out (or as…some call it “moving out”) of my mom’s house earlier this year, I’ve definitely been living it up hobo style. Spanging, dumpstering, hitching, squatting, and all with my best friend. I’ve never been happier!

I had a track meet today, and my school is a little more than 30 miles from my house. I was supposed to get a ride home with my grandpa on his bike, but he got the flu, so i was stuck with either
a) call my mom and get her off of work, or
b) sit at the school until she was done and have her come and get me (at least a couple of hours)

I chose: c) hitchhike home. Three rides and about 5-ish miles of walking later, I was at my front door.

The crazy thing is, thats not my first time hitchhiking, but it was my first time actually thumbing for a real reason, not just for recreation.

I’m not counting this as being a hobo, though, that’d just be lame. I was in track sweats with a duffel bag, so it just plain doesn’t count!

Being a hobo could perhaps be the most amazing experience anyone could ever have ever. I’l be playing the guitar, signing the blues, hoping that someones gunna throw change in my top hat….however i’l need a top hat and i’l have to learn the guitar.

i wanna be a hobo who plays the obo with a logo and if you ask me if i went to bogo i would say “no, go(away)!” cuz mah cousin bozo stepped on my tozo wich sounds like todo off the wizard of oz-do and oh god it’s the popo, no it’s santa, hohoho
i kinda got off track but watever lol

So… sometimes… when I’m downtown… I am harrased by hobo’s. Most of the time I just ignore them but in my last few run in’s with hobo’s I have started to want to talk to them I have recentaly had a life altering thought… Maybe hobo’s are just lonely and want someone to talk to. So i want to be homeless for a day so I can get up close and personal with hobo’s and see how they live in a hobo’s perspective… and I pretty much just made all of this up. But it would still be interesting.

I’m already kind of one. Me and my friend have a hobo group, with nicknames. I’m Hobo with a tail. Hello hobos! I have to say, we are kind of well off hobos, but we live in a “deprived area” altough we are a bit sceptical about that.
