How about I focus on “one time in one day” and see how that goes.
Luckily I had a much-needed massage today. I really don’t know how I get so many knots in my back so often. I must be doing something wrong.

was yesterday – 1 hour of yoga.
But today my shoulders are really sore. If I do any today, it will have to be less than yesterday. (I stretched today already but I can’t really count that as yoga.)
8 sun salutations. Not a lot of yoga, but better than nothing :-)

but my neighbours are singing Filippino karaoke… so obviously studying’s not going to happen.
Maybe I can “yoga” instead with my own music to cover up the other

I have a new goal now of doing 45-60 minutes of cardio work each week.

I think one of the reasons I’ve had trouble lately maintaining my practice is because I get in the rut of following the same tape or CD. This week my best practices were ones where I had no cd or tape with me. This morning, I’ve no time to practice, as I’ve just used up my practice time assessing how to improve the quality of my practices.
Just a down dog or two before I scoot.

Well, late adding this, but I did do it once a day in 7 days, with a variety. I like the half-handstand, because its good for strengthening your back and arms. And sun salutations are a good all-rounder. It’s good doing yoga when you have aches and pains, and actually doing it everyday (before you feel the aches and pains) is better, because it strengthens your muscles, like the lower back so you don’t get as much pain.

Shortly after the last time I left an entry here, I pushed too hard with something beyond my abilities, and hurt myself. So I was off yoga for awhile and am now starting again, again.
Day one, morning practice done. Intend to do an evening practice.

okay i feel really bad giving this up, but i’m not going tobe achieving it any time in the near future. i normally do the sun salutations in the morning and i go to two yoga classes most weeks, but i do not think that the sun salutations are enough yoga to call that a proper practice. i do not have books, and i am a skint student who cannot afford books or a dvd, so i do not know enough poses to achieve this, it may sound like im just giving it up, im not, im just not achieving it. this is confusing. my head is sore (maybe some yoga would help that!) and i need sleep. apologies. and good luck all the rest of ya!

I’ll admit it, I’ve become obsessed with another project. I am working on it 24/7, I dream about it and start working at it first thing in the morning. I steal time away from my real job…shhh. I am putting yoga to the side for just a big longer.

I’m actually trying to do yoga twice a day if possible. But mostly trying to get back to the daily habit asap.
