How to get drunk on a beach
How I did it: It was my 18th birthday my mom bought me a bottle of Southern Comfort and my friend and I sat on Old Orchard Beach and drank the night away. We watched the fireworks. We were pretty much drunk that entire week.
Lessons & tips: Is it really that hard to do?

getting drunk on the beach has to be one of the most satisfying and funfilled things ever. i live on the coast of fla and that’s what we do around here (now I’m kinda broke tho)
Amber eats sand like you for breakfast!
but its best if it just happens. Some people stuff as many ‘moments’ into their Life, checking it off a list like trophies.
This is another moment that is best kept organic.
Growing up out East, it just happens. Under many conditions.
But the thing to remember: *
As romantic as splashing around in the water might LOOK or FEEL CINEMATIC, at some point, a little voice in your head is going to chirp,
*“no!”.
That’s the voice you always obey, that little voice that can almost sound beyond your moment of Dionysian abandonment.
That little voice, I think that voice is the one that people call ‘insight’ or a guardian angel.
I like reminding myself that the little Voice is often all that keeps us from the 10 second freefall into a whole lifetime of consequences.
I like reminding that people I meet sometimes.
I get some weird reactions.
Okay, I usually inject points like that into a conversation when I meet a ‘conservative’ or ‘religious’ Ego that begs for PSI release.

Silent Freedom is Freedom Silenced
Wow. Water feels amazing. So amazing that in my case I once forgot to swim. I could, I just forgot, the water was, well, amazing. Have a somewhat more sober friend with you- it’s just safer that way. Oh yeah, and wear sunscreen, because odds are you wont care about getting a sunburn.
I miss Mexico…
