crossingpaths is a bit sad these days.
I graduate in summer of 2010. So I want to start my gap year in fall of 2010. :)

Since today, I’ve really been thinking about travelling a lot. I’ve even taken a look at gap year websites… I found some good travel packages, but my only concerns are:
a) Funding my trip
b) What happens if I spend too long in one country?
c) How do I get a uni position after coming home?
Help anyone?
there was one week a couple months ago that i was so sure i should take a gap year and i had tons of great reasons and ordered a book about it and was so excited… and now i can’t remember why i wanted to go or what my reasons were… i’d love to travel but i think it’ll be some other time.
I sent off my deposit and my consent form for under 18s yesterday! When GAP receive that then i’m def going [well subject to criminal record and medical checks]!!! Scarrrry!! I leave about 23rd/24th August!!
GAP have made me an offer :-D i got the Tibetan Placement in north-east India which was the one i really wanted. Providing everything goes to plan then i’m off on August 24th!
I’m still only Yr10 & hoping to go onto 6th Form & Uni & Study Medicine. But i’ve read you can’t take a year out from medschool, So you should do it Afetr A Levels…That Would be great…I Really Wanna’ go travelling to places like the amazon & Africa
Really looking forward to the summer of this year. Feels like I wanna do something massive after my HNC to make the most of not having the pressure of coursework, assignments, due dates on my shoulders. Still want to make the most of not doing a full time course. Smaller, part time, one day courses etc may be called for as there’s still things I wanna learn but don’t want to do them in full time courses – especially as this one has been fairly dissapointing but it is a good paper to have achieved.
