Buy a drumkit

A friend very recently asked me to try out his drumkit and bearing in mind I’m 35 and have never thought about playing drums, I thought this would be wayyyyy embarrassing. To my and his complete surprise I sat behind the kit and actually played it. The electricity I felt while doing so was unreal. My friend is not only a highly accomplished professional musician, he’s also an extremely critical person of anyone who plays anything. He turned to me after and said “Jon, go and get a drumkit and start playing.” So I’m going to get a drumkit.

I suuuuuuck…but its so much fun!!!

Finally I got one

Played for about 5 years in a little band doing fun gigs and birthdays

My friend david is moving house and is trying to sell me his shitbag kit for £75. It is horrible. It creaks. I could make a better noise with pots and pans and a kazoo. I could buy new equipment for it or see if I could get a brand new very basic kit for no more than about £110 from Stockport. I still have no money though.
