quit neopets

I haven’t been on neopets for years, today I log on discover everything is PACKED WITH ADS, everything has changed, I go on the boards and everyones talking about the Jonas brothers and Hannah Montana and I realise that I have much better things to do with my life.
I found out that Adam and Donna (the creators) left the company 3 years ago for bigger and better things and that it was bought by some large company that is just after money.

So today, I cleared out my safety deposit box and put a smile on people’s day by giving away random things on the boards (one by one, harder than it sounds because of the slowness of the connection – and we have broadband!!!) I went through my neofriends list and found out that only ONE of my neofriends still plays (the rest haven’t been on for years either) so I decide to leave all my millions from the stock market to him.
I give away my pets to people who want painted pets to brighten up their lives…....

Tomorrow I am going to that screen that lets you delete your account and I am getting rid of it for good.

Good riddance.

PS. this is not a scam, because I’ve finished this survey about 2 weeks ago, and I was still able to get into my account with everything I had still safely stored in my SDB. :)

Its amazing that such a cheesy game can be so darn addictive.

Quitting Neopets has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever done in my life. I’ve given all my items and nps to a friend of mine, and my pets will stay there.

They’re all pixels anyway.

Now I don’t periodioally turn on the computer every night to see if the Snowager is sleeping!

Finally. Left all of my stuff to my neofriend. Now I actually have time to do stuff =)

for my neofriend to get rid of all crap in the safety deposit box, and get rid of my neopoints. And then my account can officially be deleted. =) Thank god…

But first, I have to give away my random stuff and neopoints. Been playing for forever, but I need more free time. Wow, who would have thought a cyber-world was so hard to let go of?

last summer i tried over and over again to do it .. but i could not . so then in september we moved and didnt have any internet ! i was focred to quit ! for the first months i was so bored . but then i realized how much of my life was consumed by it . then we got dial up . it was really slow . but i woke up at 6 am every day i woke up to play . then i just quit . i saw something on a website saying how much the neopets staff doesnt care about your pets and all they wanna do is make money . aslo how much it is going downhill ( im not impling that it just said it on the site ) then i clicked in my mine . when im gona be 25 years old will i still be controled by this site and every moment of my day im going to thing about neopets ?? that was in feburary . neopets is very addictive but you can stop !!

i love the free time!!
