Not this year 18 months ago

For the last month I haven’t watched a single movie. I’ve just been in one of those moods where nothing seems good. Well I almost got 3/4 of the way done. 73/100- not too bad
Maybe next year will be better…

94. Cake – 4
95. Hot Fuzz – 8
96. Jane Eyre – 8
97. Casablanca – 7’5

I’m sure I’ll finish this, tonight I’m seeing another one with my mum, and I have some films recorded to watch.
Also, I’m downloading lots of the classics (starting with Casablanca as you can see), which I had never seen because they’re never on tv and they don’t have them either for rent, so yay! I’ve always meant to watch them, but those will be in my 2008 list :)

Happy New Year to everybody! :D

*The Lost Battalion

Another movie that I watched at school. My history teacher showed us this one…It was about World War 1. Kind of a boring movie..

90. Atonement – 10

Great great great great! Best film of the year, imo. Well, I still have to watch the other “big ones” but none will be as good as this one for me, because, apart from being a really really good movie, it has my favourite actress and one of my favourite actors in it, plus I love me some Joe Wright (director, also from Pride and Prejudice) and the cinematography is great, the editing is great, the soundtrack is great, the script is great (and also it’s probably the most faithful novel-film adaptation I’ve ever seen), and just overall loved it so much! Clearly it’s become one of my favourite films.

A must see!
