Focus my thoughts, prayers, positive vibes, etc on World Peace on the Winter Solstice, Dec 21

It was well worth doing, But i think that everyday i am going to try and put positive vibes out there

Customers get to me most of the time but thanks! to all the positive vibes I’ve had nice customers and I’ve been nice & peaceful, and the ones with problems and such get mad at me and storm off because I won’t have a yelling match with them.

I may not have had time to sit down and spend an hour meditating; I may have not been able to run out and attend a peace rally; I may not have spent all day in a pleasant and peace-loving mood (honestly, what parent can? Kudos to them if there are any out there who can go an entire day without frustration ::lol::) however…

♡ I did make my children laugh. ♡ I did spend time playing and being silly and seeing them enjoy themselves ♡ I did think to myself, “insh’allah all children are laughing today.” ♡

What better way to contribute positive thoughts and energy and prayers and hopes and dreams to a Day of Peace than to fill the day with the laughter of children? =)

I also owe a huge, awesomely wonderful ::hug:: to serendipityprimrose for sending my now-10-year-old daughter the sweetest birthday wishes any friend of mine has ever given her. This was so kind, and such a beautiful way to spread love throughout the world yesterday. I only wish I had seen it earlier, but that’s okay, every day is a perfect day to share a smile with someone we care about.

Thank you serendipityprimrose for caring about my children! May God bless you greatly for this, and for all that you do for the world.

I am off to continue preparations for the holidays!

i ended up getting in an argument with my best friend and now we aren’t talking.

I have reminded myself to do this. So I’ve just had a calm, relaxing day, living the peace I desire for the world.

I have this persistent idea, that believe it or not, the Administration doesn’t get it that most of the U.S. is no longer in favor of the mess that is Iraq and that we want our troops out or a plan for getting out underway. What can we do to get this across to the Commander in Chief? Is it time to hit the streets? MORE letter writing?

I’m so sick of hearing the news of more troops and more civilians hurt, killed, kidnapped. What we are doing is not working, certainly it isn’t moving the world toward peace. Time for a new idea. Heck, it’s been time for a new idea for a while now.

I feel compelled to do SOMETHING but I don’t know what.
