How I did it: Well I used to have medium length hair, ie just past my shoulders, and i had it cut into a shoulder length bob, which I did like. I planned to take it shorter but not quite as soon as I have done! I just went into the hairdressers, gave her a picture of the Rihanna style cut I wanted and walked away feeling fantastic. Lessons & tips: Research the style first, and talk to your stylist. it might help to take a picture but this might just be a rough guide. I had a style in mind, but wanted it slightly different to the picture so that it covered my ears. How I did it: Been thinking about doing it for a long time, but I wasn't sure if my face could "do" a short hairstyle because my facial features aren't that feminine, and I'm tall and flat-chested as well, so I'm afraid of looking too masculine. How I did it: It took me about a year of visits to the hairdresser. She hated my hair - too thick, too much of it, she said. Every time I went, I said "cut it short!" then when she was about to cut it, she'd ask "are you sure?" and I chickened out. Then one day, I was feeling rather brave, and I said do it. Cut it off. How I did it: I decided a few months ago that I hated my hair. I was just so bored by it. I've had the same hair the entirety of high school.So I tried to figure out what would make it look better, and my mom suggested that I cut it short. This is another one that might have dire consequences. I’ve cut my hair into bobs before and have always regretted it, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve lost the patience to maintain my long locks. It’s great to have hair I can do anything with, but I usually just blow dry it and run a comb through it anyway. If I had short hair I wouldn’t even need to dry it. I think women often keep their hair a certain way to spare their partners the shock of seeing it styled differently. My hair has been a huge part of my sexuality and I’m not prepared to give that up! I know, I know, hair’s got nothing to do with being sexy, but tell that to my toy boy.

I have been going through on images.google and images.yahoo for short hair cuts and saving them on my comp. I will narrow them down to the one I find most desirable so i’ll have something to show when I go to the hair salon.

I was thinking about doing it later on. For now, I will enjoy my long hair but when I do cut it I will start by doing it around the shoulder then maybe do an angled bob later on.

I just called and made an appointment at 4 to chop it off! I’m going to donate the pony to pantene’s great lengths (locks of love makes a HUGE profit and doesn’t actually give the kids free wigs, but rather gives them wigs based on their income level).
