Some days I take a time out for several hours 3 years ago

and some days, esp. this past very busy week, I take a mid-afternoon break and read just a little, just a few pages before taking a 15-minute nap (I sleep about 6 hours a night).

I don’t know whether I’m ever gonna finish Steppenwolf. But I’ll try.

I have been making time to read lately. I should finish My Life by Bill Clinton tomorrow.

Must flip more pages... 3 years ago

The only time I seem to have for reading is just before bed. And then I’m usually out in 10 minutes. I actually try not to read anymore because when I do, I just end up falling asleep with the book on my lap. It’s terrible. I spend months trying to finish one book. Aaarrrggg….

I finally finished the first book I started reading The Graft by Martina Cole.

I’ve decided I don’t like the Cecelia Ahern one so I’m going to start a Patricia Cornwell one. Always a safe bet!

Put the other book away unfinished and started another one.

If You Could See Me Now by Cecelia Ahern. I’ve read her other two books and they are a bit familiar cause they are set in Ireland. They are light, easy to read, chick lit. Maybe this will kick start my reading bug!

Read a couple of chapters last night in the bath and I think it is safe to say, I’m back into the book! I plan on reading a little more tonight.

Not doing so good with this. I did get back into the book but I just can’t devour it like I use to. I think I’ll set aside an evening next week to just lie on the sofa and read, read, read!

Did a bit of reading over the weekend and I’m getting back into a book I bought in July for going into hospital. Due to the combo of drugs & hormones I never really got past the first few pages.

I think I’ll try and set aside two night a week. Turn off the TV and step away from the computer, lol.

I want to make time to read again. I don’t need to be on the internet every night and I don’t need to watch crap on TV.

I’ve a book started & not finished and several new books bought with no time to read.
