Pkizzle needs to stop wasting time.
How I did it: By making flossing a part of my nightly routine, I was able to make sure that it happened every night. I wouldn't let myself skip a single night, and if I had forgotten and was already in bed, I would force myself to get up and floss. Now, I went from not even knowing how to use floss, to being able to do it in less than thirty seconds! :D Read how I did it…

How I did it: I've struggled to floss consistently for years. My dental hygienist would just laugh at me for coming back time after time and saying I flossed 2-5 times a week. I would just skip it if I was tired or traveling or just feeling lazy. So this time, I put my floss closer to the sink than my toothbrush. I tracked every day whether or not I flossed, keeping it on my mind. It took me four months of trying before I flossed every day for a month. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I just kept repeating "you only floss the ones you want to keep". pretty soon Iw as in a routine where every single night I flossed. If I missed it for some reason (being in a youth hostel far from the bathroom, etc) then I did it in the morning. My teeth feel better and there's even some peace of mind attached! Read how I did it…
How I did it: When my domestic servant is coming home (just an hour a day, after my breakfast) I do it.I spend lost time with that good habit.Just do it....................... Read how I did it…
How I did it: Kept at it with conscious intention regularly enough for it to become part of my nightly routine. I used the technique that my dentist showed me before I started to ensure that I would do it correctly. Read how I did it…

I have flossed nearly every day for 3 months. Not quite there to where it is an automatic part of my routine.
Flossing used to be very tedious and I didn’t have it down. Now I can floss quickly and thoroughly. I am still not doing it every day, but it’s at the point where it weighs on my consciousness if I forget. Good progress.
Why is it so hard to do? Maybe I need to go to bed earlier so that I have enough energy and can be bothered reaching for the floss and spending 2 mins working my teeth and gums. Am still committed!!
My dentist scared me and said I had a mild case of gingivitis and that the only way to prevent it is by flossing every day. She said that any sign of bleeding gums is gingivitis in the making. That freaked me out enough to force me to do it a lot more often. I only forgot to floss twice since my appointment 2 weeks ago.
I even saw Youtube videos of periodontal disease (which is what happens when gingivitis gets worse) and wow, that was a huge wake up call!
Day one. I figure that if I can floss everyday for one month I will have built up enough consistency to achieve this as a life-time habit. I will consider this goal reached when I have flossed everyday for 3 months, so hopefully I can make it by the end of the year.

“I have tried both floss and picks, but my mouth doesn't open ar enough/I can't get my lips down enough that I can reach any of my molars with the tape, let alone get the tape around them and be able to see what I am doing. Can anyone help?”
