I hate compact cars in general. The only reason I drove one for a few days was because my SUV was in the shop and this was the only rental available the day I dropped it off. I exchanged it for a larger vehicle as soon as I could.
Compact cars are uncomfortable to drive, are uncomfortable to ride in, leave no room for stowing ANYthing, and have fooled me entirely too many times into thinking a parking spot was available when it actually had a ridiculously tiny “car” pulled all the way forward in it. The only upside to them is their fuel economy, but (and I hate to say this) even that doesn’t make up for all the downsides for me. (Can you tell I hate compact cars?)
Fuel economy is important, of course, and I wouldn’t mind buying a hybrid one day … but it would be a hybrid SUV. :p
