Swim at beach 4 times in a month

Yesterday was Australia Day so we had a barbie over at a friend’s place on the beach. It was hot hot hot – 42ish – so as soon as we arrived we went for a swim. the ocean was perfectly flat – and super cold. your face would be cooking in the sun with everything under the surface shivering. it was very funny.

later on we went and played beach cricket – batter on the beach, all the fielders in the water. it was still super hot – but the water was lovely that time around.

Still booked in to swim at city beach tomorrow – it will prob be 41 tomorrow. 5 years ago

It was freezing – a bitter easterly and the water from shockingly cold. The annoying thing was that 3 hours later it was 37 and super warm. The water would have been a delight. Oh well – next week we are off to city beach. 5 years ago

we are making our way north a sunday at a time. on sunday we go to swanbourne – then city beach. 5 years ago
