How I did it: Be honest and grateful, they need to be reminded that we appriciate and love them all although we may not know all their faces. Pretend you're speaking to a family member, because every soldier is someone's someone. Let them know they do a great job and we have faith in them, They're fantastic people with unlimited amounts of courage. Read how I did it…

Where do you find an address?! I’ve looked all over and I can’t find any sites that tell me where to send my letters too!
Thanks for the help! =)
Just want all of you to know that without you there would be no us, you stand for Pride, Honor, and Dignity and you do a damn good job at it. You make me prouder to be an American. Thank you could never be enough, I will be eternally grateful for the sacrifices you and your families make so you can put your lives on the line. But, I’ll say it anyway, Thank You men and women standing your ground and making all Americans proud of you…You are all in my prayers. Love, Jami

Hey! All looking to give a little suppport to our troops that don’t have any. I love to write and thought I would beable to help out a little. If there is anyone out there that wants to write go for it…
Hello. How are you?
You must be lonely now, so I thought that if I write then I may be lucky enough to receive a reply.
I am a young woman working as a support person for people with severe and enduring mental illness, I work 37.5 hours a week and get paid for this. i live and work in manchester but was born in Rochdale. My family have served one in the navy and one the raf but I only met one of my grandfathers, the one who was in the raf. he has told me some tales but not many about what he can remember of his time in 2nd world war. He flew a plane and had to learn the dip dip dash codes which he said was quite difficult under pressure.
What are you doing in your day at the moment , do you just forget one day to the next?
My other grandad who died when my mother was 17 was in the navy and I didn’t meet him. I have seen a photo though and would like a copy of it If I can figure out who has it, I think it’s my aunt Margaret. Anyway , I know lots of people were recruited for navy by being bought drinks and then being kidnapped on the boat and into service, by the time they were out on the ships it was too late! (I don’t mean I know them personally)I don’t know if this was the case with grandad Johnson but I know that he was ok when he went but by the time he got back he was roasting horse poo off the street in my gran’s best roasting tin meant for the meat. When she asked him not too he agreed then a week later bugger her if he didn’t go and do it again . I don’t know how parkinson’s disease comes on or much about it but that is what he had. So it’s quite sad , he died in my nan’s bathroom. She moved to a nursing home in the end but stayed in that house an awfully long time before moving on , she is also dead now god rest her soul. So I was wondering how you feel about choosing to go there, is it a good legacy to leave us fellow englishpeople when you go. Like a good life lived. Do you think I shouldn’t have done it but it’s too late now, my choice power feels weak or do you just do it without thinking at all. You must have a sense of pride at serving all us lazy layabouts!!If you die do you want to stay there or be flown home here? You are much braver than I could ever be even if you aren’t leaving behind any family but especially if you are. i guess there is no sympathy there for you from your rank officers or fellow soldiers, as the name suggests you have to soldier on regardless. Try not to bottle your feelings up just shout them out or you will wnd up feeling worse. Did you know than a lady of wartime eras past was Gracy fields who sang to the troops ,she was from my Birth town of Rochdale. I believe she was loved by many. I saw a great piece of film of her singing to soldiers at a museum in Rochdale. What do you guys and girls chat about do you ever get any sleep and do delusions and nightmares haunt you regularly? If so can you get psychological help and medication for this ,? I have suffered from periods of depression before myself and medication can help at times when all else fails. Friendship is important too, you guys must become closer than ever like brothers. There is nothing wrong with loving your fellow man you know no shame at all .Its good . So give one another a break and no falling out! ok. What about the loners do you look out for the quiet ones?
Do you have to go out marching in the dark , that must be wierd but exciting ? No I don’t want to come over and give it a try , no way hosea! So really at the punch I just want to say thankyou very much for going and god love you all. xx Come back soon and have a good time too never forget you are gold always believe in your soul you have the power to go you are indestructable always believe it. i am praying for you all. Godspeed.x
