not kick a pigeon

I bought a book today for my little cousin Evan. It is a board book and is really cute. It is about a pigeon and a bus driver. Anyway, it’s cute and I kinda liked it.

I saw two today that were really near us on the sidewalk. I REALLY wanted to kick them, but I refrained.

I totally forgot to write this one down. Since it’s been cold, I haven’t really seen many pigeons, so not really a problem right? WRONG! My husband and I were on the L-train headed down to the city. During a transfer we had found a car that wasn’t too crowded and found a seat. As we’re talking, a pigeon just mosies on in to our car and walks RIGHT PAST ME!!! Well, I wanted to, but I did not kick it! It just kept walking and someone shoo-ed it out the door.
Alright, so I suppose I probably won’t be seeing many pigeons for at least a month or so, but I’ll keep this goal updated if I do.

P.S. I also don’t like seagulls or geese. They are so gross and poop EVERYWHERE!!! It is kind of a goal not to kick them too, but they are a little bigger and more aggressive, so there is less motivation to do so.

No matter how much I dislike the little guys, I’ve come to the conclusion that it would be cruelty to animals to actually kick one of them. (Although, I’m not sure that they are really ‘animals’ per se.) So I’m gonna have to give up on this goal. Maybe I should make it a goal to NOT kick a pigeon:(
