Own a banana tree

My banana tree’s name was Nene, she was so awesome. she had many babies and she was beautiful. I had to leave her with her new family in Florida where she planted roots and settled down for good.

I grew up with a yard full of banana trees. I miss the texture and the smell, the red heart that legend says feeds the gnomes that live at the foot of the tree. Food wrapped in banana leaves are cool too. It totally gives out a different feel. Now I got me hungry.

it ok i guess its hard to get them to grow banannas in minnesota the winters are tough on them i never got mine to grow any.
