"Read" the entire Bible before December 21, 2007.

goal. I do want to read the Bible within a year’s time, but I’ve procrastinated on this too much to gain much benefit from it. This isn’t a goal I’ve put up just to do it. And, I’ve also been reading some books where it has Biblical teachings incorporated with it, so my focus on the spiritual is still there.

I read 10 chapters of Genesis. I am planning on working on this some more tomorrow. :)

I’ve listened to 3 of the 16 CDs which brings me up to Mark 14. It’s not been that ardurous to pay attention to either, since James Earl Jones is the reader. I also did some math and I should be able to complete this goal in a year with reading 3 chapters a day once I finish the NT. :)

So, I’ve borrowed The Bible read by James Earl Jones on CDs from the library. It is the entire New Testament. So, that will leave me with the Old Testament after that. I’ve never read the Old Testament from Genesis to Malachi at one time before, and I need to start studying the Bible more than I have lately. I’m starting this New Year’s resolution early, and going to see just how quickly I can accomplish this goal instead of saying I’ll give myself a year to do it. I’m excited about this goal.
