I saw this opera a couple of seasons ago in San Francisco. Well worth watching.

and loved every minute. Not always how I feel about the operas I attend, but opera is a family affair. Leslie (in above review) is my sister.
Next up, Little Women: A Little Musical, directed by my sister in law Mel and with Leslie in the role of Marmee; Boise Opera’s Mikado, with my brother John (Mel’s husband) as Nanki-poo; and another La Traviata, this time Spokane Opera, with Leslie in the title role. That’ll be fun because I can compare it to Boise Opera’s La Trav, which I saw a couple months ago, Leslie in the title role.
I liked La Trav a lot. But I saw Leslie in the title role of Merry Widow (John as Camille) and couldn’t even keep track of the characters!
