Happy to be here with a natural place.

Katrina Goering is adventuring in Chicago.
All I want is a bit of freedom without creepiness or awkwardness. I guess I’m hoping a nudist colony will provide an Adam and Eve sort of freedom, as opposed to the perversion breeding ground of a clothing optional beach.
I don’t want to be ogled. I don’t want to do any ogling. I just want to enjoy a day or two of freedom.
Nudist colony is so ‘50’s. It sounds like leper colony. No one uses that term any more. It is either nudist resorts, clubs, or campgrounds.
Most nudist places in the USA are campgrounds for the families and kids. However, there are 2 nice real nudist resorts. One on each coast. Our favorites are Terra Cotta Inn in Palm Springs, CA. It is the best and our favorite. It is a small resort, for couples so no obnoxious kids and very well run. Their site is http://sunnyfun.com
If you go to Florida, the best one is Cypress Cove http://cypresscoveresort.com It is by Orlando. Being by Disney World, they have kids, but it is very well run and the kids are well behaved.
WETWATER is hoping Twitter goes defunct!
I’ve been to several, and I’d like to visit more. (By the way, the correct term is Nudist “camp, “club” or “resort”—“colony” is something out of old borsht-belt routines). Not only does it feel great going naked, but it helped me with body acceptance.
Being naked for a week or a month would be very liberating. You could become truly comfortable in your own skin. And you couldn’t hide your flaws behind clothes. If there was one close by I’d do it in a heartbeat. Otherwise I have to wait until I go back home to California. But I’ll do it in this lifetime.
