finish my grad school applications

GTA position and a scholarship on top of it. Which should allow me to recoup roughly the amount of money that I spent scanning my art, having slides made and overnighted to me, and overnighting them to all the schools I applied to. Hooray!

Tomorrow I’m mailing the last bit of everything. Transcripts are sent out and I need one more letter of recommendation from my boss, but 95% of it is done, so I’m declaring the goal done.

Statements of Purpose sorta freaked me out, honestly but I got over it. Thank god.

All I have to do is finish my statement of purpose.

Of course, this is all I have had to do since October. Why can’t I finish this final step? Gah!

I know, I know; everyone has to do the recommendation letters and the transcripts and the personal statements and so forth.

But only we art majors are fortunate enough to spend hour after mind-numbing hour photographing and cropping and fixing the computer-warped colors in our slide portfolios.

and I am done. Now it is just the waiting game, which is okay as I have a million things to do to keep me busy.

My applications to
Jagiellonian and Palacky (Poland/Czech) are done and in the mail. Now it is just the waiting time!

W00t, guys. Boston, Oxford, and Notre Dame are all on their way! Maybe I’ll get in, maybe I won’t. But at least this goal is ACCOMPLISHED!

Notre Dame is coming up!

Boston College went out last week. Oxford and Notre Dame are pending.

... now I just have to wait.
