meet Kevin Smith

saw him twice at comic con. once for his yearly talk and then he was a surprise visitor at the Heroes panel. he was hilarious and the highlight of my trip.

It would be soooooooooooo amazing to meet Kevin Smith – he’s just incredible. Ooohhhh would be too excited!!

I would totally wanna meet Kev, He’s a legend.

by the way has anyone else realized that Kev has hadd hair transplant!!!!

I’m in the process of finding flights and hotels in San Diego for this year’s Comic Con, and although he’s not officially on the guest list yet, I’ve been told that he goes every year, and I’ll go out of my way to meet him there if he goes.

I stalk his website waiting for an event in Boston, but in the 3 years I’ve lived here he cancelled the only event he scheduled. I may just make a pilgrimmage down to the Secret Stash in Red Bank, NJ to pull this one off.

Kind of expensive, but hey, if you’re willin’ to cough up the cash. Kevin Smith makes himself very available to his fans by staging Q & A session at colleges, holding parties for any random reason relatin’ to his works i.e. Evening Harder with Kevin Smith and Clerks II: Back to the Well (I went to this one, lol). But yeah, I know of some people who’d come from as far as Connecticut and travel to the West Coast just to see Kevin again. You make some new friends, meet the big kahuna himself, and have a genuinely good time. Funny how a fat man in a cap and long coat can bring so many people together – it’s like Christmas via Santa Clause. Though, if Jason Mewes were to grow out a beard, he would look a bit like Jesus…

Anywho, if you really want to go, look for his next event. I know that he works at UCLA right now workin’ on his Sucks Less videos as a college class. Not to mention, he travels to San Diego Comic Con every year. If not, keep tabs on his blog:

Bookmark it and look into it every once in awhile. But, if you live near one of the Secret Stashes he set up, either the one near Hollywood or the one in Jersey – he might just stop by there every once in awhile… So, make goody with the employees there, for I know they work with Smith personally and even played some parts in his movies.

Kevin Smith is my idol. I pray I can meet him one day, though I think I would be speechless. Nugganooch.

It’s not going to happen soon- I think I’ll put him on my 43 people list and look at some short term goals ATM

It’s so worth it…but it’ll only make you want more.
