My first kiss ever was under the stars at an observatory. A girl couldn’t ask for a better first kiss!
He was about 6 inches taller than me so I had to stand on my toes. It was such a dark night that when we broke apart and I tilted my head up to look at him, all I could see was the silhouette of his face against diamond-studded velvet.
He was (well, still is!) a good friend. Right about midnight, I was heading out to my car after a night of observing.
“Hang on a second. I wanted to wish you happy birthday,” he said.
“Thank you!” I grinned back.
“Can I ask you something?”
“Sure, what is it?”
“Can I kiss you?”
He knows how to melt a girl’s heart!

summer night, damp wooden porch, sharing a sleeping bag, the sun started coming up and the night was almost over, i kissed him first. this was just a kiss by the way.. i know the sleeping bag sounds like more.. i want to do it again!
