I started a picture too. The hardest part was actually sitting down and putting the pencil on the paper, then I regreted it took me so long to start again.
How to draw a picture
How I did it: I chose one of the pictures my dad had taken while in Burma, messed around with different techniques- water colours, pencil sketching and decided on soft pastels. Managed to hide it from my Dad and surprise him with it on Christmas day as a present :)
Lessons & tips: Enjoy yourself and be creative.
Resources: Soft pastels, youtube.com how-to videos, cotton buds and soap for my mucky hands afterwards!

It’s been a long time since I picked up a pencil – really picked up, not ‘I have two minutes and here is a pencil for me to doodle’ pick up.
So this is the beginning and I want to draw a picture

I need to draw something to prove I still can… It’s been an awful long time :(

...is the perfect oppurtunity! My Dad’s a photographer so I was thinking of drawing one of the photos he took while in Burma that we’ve got framed around the house and either pencil sketch it or draw it out roughly and use really colourful pastels. It’ll be like an artistic bond :)
I haven’t drawn a picture on real paper and with real charcoal for about two years.
I’ve started pictures in the past months but never finished them. I really have to change that!

i miss drawing sooo much! it’s been 5 years i don’t draw!!!!!
I have some of my draws framed. I made then with some kind of black crayon (charcoal… maybe, i guess it’s charcoal). I’m not sure it’s name in english. I also have an unfinished pastel drawing. I’ll try to draw more often.
I was just wondering if someone would like to use a short story ive written as inspiration for some art.
“I dont really remeber, what it was like to just sit, and let the sun wash over my skin.
Metal, not quite like grass, and around me everything seems to be decaying, nuts, bolts, welds all slowly rotting away.
Its wierd how something so dead can be so alive, the engines humming away under my feet.
If there is electricity, on this floating piece of scrap, then it definetley choses were it wants to go. Most of the ship is bathed in a deep red glow of the “saftey” lights.
People die every other week, most of the time a pipe of atom melting plasma explodes unexpectadly into there being, or the lights that are on for “saftey” dont quite reveal a whole in the floor…....
Whatever i dont care, its good money.”
It would be really nice to see this in picture form,
thank you for your time.
