As i was saying... 2 years ago

As i said in my entry below; joining the ninjutsu school is actually $15 dollars, but if you pay $30, you also get a ninja badge and tabi boots, (the boots that ninjas wear, duh). I joined a while ago so i dont know if they still do that. :-).

I do ninjutsu, so its easy, read all to learn to jump high, it takes practice! Thats me climbing a wall with a friend, not jumping, i have no jump pics, sorry. 2 years ago

Please reply to my advice, im seeing if i would make a good sensei when i finally graduate from my 4 years training.
Everyone in victoria in australia, there are ninjutsu classes in frankston and Langwarrin, it is $30 to join, :-). Here are some tips on how to jump high. 1. Do not hunch over or squat down before the jump.
Some people believe that in order to jump high they must squat down first, then jump. What many do not know is that it’s actually harder to jump high this way. Start your jump from a standing, relaxed position.
2. Watch your shoulders.
When starting the jump, don’t shrug your shoulders. This is a certain giveaway that you are going to jump.
3. Tuck your feet in, not behind.
When you jump, try and tuck your feet up and into your body, not behind you. By tucking your feet up you can prevent being hit in the feet.
4. Keep your head level.
It is more important to get your legs out of the way than it is to be able to jump 10 feet into the air. Concentrate on bringing your lower body up to
your torso, rather than trying to jump high. This will also help prevent hunching over, or shrugging your shoulders.
5. Land with both feet at the same time.
When you land, make sure that both feet touch the ground at the exact same time. Also make sure that your feet are apart, not close together. If your feet are too close together you will lose your balance.
6. Be quiet!
Remember this is Ninja jumping! Let your legs absorb the landing so you don’t make any noise. That picture is me in action!!!, climbing a wall with a friend.

White man CAN jump! Well, kinda. 2 years ago

Ok, yeah so I’m a white guy. But that doesn’t mean white men can’t jump!! I’m 5-11 and have a 30 inch standing vertical. It used to be 21 inches so I made some improvement eh? I can’t dunk a basketball yet (short arms and small hands) but I can grab the rim with both hands on a good day.

I tried some different things to increase my vertical over the years. I tried the Strength Shoes for a bit, but then I sprained my foot (in an unrelated incident) and couldn’t continue anymore, so I’ll report back on results later when I try them again.

There’s some good vertical jump program reviews at this jump higher website. The consensus seems to be the Vertical Bible program, which I’ve used off and on, but plan to use more in-depth this summer. I would buy the Vertical Project since I hear it’s the best, but I can’t bring myself to fork over the 300 bucks (if I had that much disposable income I would probably buy a playstation instead, and just play basketball on the console. Yeah I can be white and nerdy!!).

I want to some day be able to do dunk.
another reson that I want to jump higher is becouse I am 5’7 and that is small for football standers so my only chance of making the team is to jump higher

it’s satisfying to know that i can visualize something and be able to execute it partially because i can jump better

Try to learn to skip 2 steps at a time. I still can’t do 3 though :( I’m gonna be a real ninja once I learn
