This year is going to be insanely busy! And to keep on top of things, I’ll make a note of things I’ll have to look at later in the year.

• Apply for Student Finance
• Look for a new job

• Get good results in my January exams
• Finalise my University decision
• Buy my hi tops!

• Sort out my Duke of Edinburgh residential
• Get my Duke of Edinburgh signed off
• Get good results in my June exams
• Get into University!

• Get stuck in at University, and work hard!

I’ll be stuck down under for the next few years but hopefully before I get too bogged down in life.

I know Reunion is pretty much a giant volcano and would love to go as much for the culture as the volcano itself. We billited some students from there for a few nights which is when I learnt about it. Not somewhere I’d consider otherwise.

I remember being struck by this idea while in France when I learnt the town we were driving though had some sort of ballooning festival each year. Failing the idea of doing it at the same time and place as loads of other balloons I’d be happy with dawn anywhere really.

One day I will make it back up north again.

This might be a little more achieveable than some of the other more recent goals. I’ve seen so little of my own country I feel very un-patriotic.

Would love to travel from Moscow to Vladivostok. I remember first learning about it at school and being completly amazed by the idea. In the meantime I might settle for Sydney to Perth.

As a result of a feature on msn UK I’ve been adding some super long term goals and will run out of room so here is the space for them. As it becomes possible to start thinking seriously about making them happen I will move them to the main list.

Have a soulful Christmas 2008 – Already have a vacation rental booked for that week, 9 days this time. Now I need to start thinking about activities that bring out the soul and squelch the commercialism

Go backcountry skiing next winter and be in good enough shape to avoid embarrassment and catastrophe.

Ski more often – I am thinking I can get into shape easier by doing a lot of downhill skiing this winter and spring. If I get into good enough shape and have I will consider backcountry skiing, but I am itching to do a bunch of downhill. I am thinking about buying a season pass.
