My family dog Tuesday Marie has become my own… in my eyes anyway. :) I love her very very much.. SOOO I’m getting her paw print tattooed on me. YAY!

How I did it: [Keep in mind that I'm sixteen, so I had some other people I needed to convince to let me buy her. :P ]
I saved my money and waited until I'd made a nice big accomplishment until I asked if I could buy a puppy. That way, I was already being seen in a responsible light, you know? :P
Lessons & tips: If you have any problems with certain personality traits of dogs, like licking or being super-duper lazy, pay attention to that when you pick one out. We thought that Moodle was licking so much just because I was new to her. But she has been licking our faces from the pet store onto right now, as I type this, a year and a half later. :P

well my family dog was taken away from us for 11 days coz she illegedly bite someone..
I no longer take her for granted. She’s a precious part of our family.

My family has two Dogs. A beagle (lazy but has an interesting personality) and a white boxer (amazing dog)
But I think I want my own to be my pal. My best bud and to kind of symbolize, i guess, my independance.. So I guess I can get this goal once I’m able to be independant…hmmmm wonder when that will be.

No strictly my own dog, and I don’t even live there any more, but my parents got a new dog the other month – Rex! Something I never thought they’d do, but it’s been great getting to spend time here over xmas. I don’t think I’ll really be able to have my own one for a good while, I work too much and then spend too much time away – and that’s not forgetting I don’t even have my own proper place yet!

I had moved in with my dad after my mom had some rough finacial problems. It just so happened that my dads dog just had a litter of seven puppies and I could keep one. I kept a little girl pup and named her Ollie. I loved her to death and was so happy to have my very own dog. Some time passed and I became really homesick, and my mom also came onto some money from her uncle’s will, and said i could come back home to chicago. It was pretty soon, and Ollie was only two months old still, so I had to leave her behinde because they couldn’t allow her on the plane, and we also already had two dogs at home. Now I have to try and convice my mom to let me have Ollie home with me, because Ollie is now old enough to be taken here, and also has had her shots, which i ended up paying for with chore money, meaning i payed for her well-being, shouldn’t i be able to keep her? I think so…
