improve my computer skills

Today, DH showed me Jasc Paint Shop Pro. There is a lot of play to be had with this one.

This reference. I use it as often as I can!

This morning she introduced me to Lissa Explains. This website is an HTML tutorial for children. It’s pretty bright, but really useful! Thanks Darling 1!!!!

just helped to relieve my Adobe Reader woes. Apparently, I can’t get it to work on my Firefox but I can get it to work on Explorer. I greatly admire her ease of computer usage. She will be my tutor this week!

I am hoping to learn some simple things, such as:
downloading my pdf files.
becoming proficient at putting attachments on my e-mail.
and becoming proficient at downloading pictures, putting them onto flickr or photobucket…..
I’ll have time this week to ask my daughter to help me. Maybe she can think of more things to teach me.

It’s not like I don’t know anything but there are so many things I would like to learn. It seems like I am 10 years behind in thecnology. I know how to use the internet and turn the computer on and shut it down. I would like to edit photos like these kids do today and create these amazeing websites.
I would like to understand what I am doing instead of being lost like I am most of the time. I am only 23 I should know this.

In my younth I met this girl that I fall in love she was from a german family and studied computer college,so I made my mind to learn computer classes and a little of german!

They aren’t terrible, but it wouldn’t hurt me to take a jump.

I know so little about MS office, etc. I’m looking into the community college in my area. I could just use the paper clip tutorial, but I feel like I need a classroom setting sometimes. I suck at learning anything when it comes to computers!!!

I’m doing good, I think. I’m able now to try out things on my own and actually succeed! I still need lots of practice, of course, and lots of new knowledge (I still haven’t learned any programming language, for example) but the fact that I’m not afraid of the computer anymore makes all the difference.

Of course, I’ve known how to use a computer for years. What I’m more interested in is to be able to use it to its full capability – do anything from spending hours in the internet to simulations for difficult physical problems.
