Get a client who hasn't paid me to hurry up already

I need to deposit the check and look through the DVDs they gave me, but I dropped by earlier today and everything’s just fine. I also got to spend some time talking to the handful of people who were around, which was cool. One of the CDs was there too, and we got to talking about his family—it turns out that his family is originally from Morocco, so we had a good conversation about travel. Unlike people who have office jobs and watercooler conversations, I rarely get to talk to my clients/coworkers about anything other than work. He also said that he’s looking forward to collaborating with me in the new year, so everything turned out really well… I’m glad I asked…

The check has already been cut, but it’s sitting on the Prez’s desk. The producer was totally cool about me calling up to ask about it. I’m going to drop by later today to grab that and a DVD of the work I did.

The bill is past due, but I’m more worried about getting it before the end of the year for stupid accounting purposes… I need to call in the morning. It’s been a while since our W-9 mixup, and they promised to get that payment out right away.
