learn how to speak Italian

how to even start this one. Do I take lessons? Should I just buy this CDs and try to learn on my own? Any suggestions from you guys??

I had an italian girlfriend before she tried to teach me to no avail! and i have an italian brother-in-law now so i might just brush up!

I can understand some Italian and can respond to certain phrases, but I think that Italian is a beautiful language and want to learn as much of it as I can.

i go to italy every summer and im half italian so im excited to be learning italian! good luck to everyone who is doing it :)
