Okay, starting today, January 1st, 2009, I will take one photo a day to represent my life, or at least this year. Next year, my sister, who is also doing this, and I will compare pictures in a scrapbook of the pictures to show each other how life was. But Jacques (as in Cousteau but without the Cousteau) has arrived.
He’s gorgeous. His fur is so thick and luxurious.
He’s too precious. Mimi hates him. She’s terribly jealous.
She doesn’t want his bottles,
but she doesn’t want him to have them either!
He butts my legs constantly because he knows I’m the bottle lady,
and he figures I’ll let one down if he reminds me.

He was sunning himself (or herself who can tell) in the treeline on the edge of the yard….liked to scare me half out of my wits. But he was so pretty and calm I snapped his picture then told him (with my best Croc Hunter voice) to run along home now and not to be a naughty little boy and scare me anymore! He promised not to! Today I had my very first Mammogram.
There are pictures of our ‘firsts’ of all kinds of things.
First tooth lost.
First prom.
First black eye.
First boyfriend.
First car.
First wedding.
First baby.
I ask you…
Why the heck not our first mammogram?
Positioning the camera just right
enabled me to snap the picture
without my nipple in view,
making the photo ‘G’ rated,
but totally cracking up the tech!
I did have to practice some contortions
to snap this pic, but it was worth it!
And hey!
What can I say?
I live to crack up the techs!
(P.S. this totally did not hurt at all!

and snap a picture of their face,
with a chrome faucet nose!
