keep a dream journal for at least 100 days straight

but i can never remember them… i’d give up, but i’ve come too far to do that now.

i’ll continue writing dreams down here though. :)

• I had a dream Marissa was going out with Chris but he only wanted her for her stuff. Ew. Ew. Ew. And. EW. No way would I let him sink that low, or for her to deal with a pervert like him, we might not be friends any more, but i wouldn’t let ANY ONE make a mistake like that.

• I had another dream the next day. It was about how Marissa was mad at me, and how I didn’t want to deal with her, so she started chasing me with a bulldozer. Gosh. It was insane. I ran into my family on the way running away from her, and they started to run with me. We hid behind this one shed. And as I turned my head to the left, I saw one of my parents friends. I thought he could keep me safe, so i went inside to find that it was like a hardwood dealership where they were selling hardwood flooring. I sat down at this one table, and Doris started talking to me and my mom about Sabrina’s birthday. Those two people are from 43 Things. Why does 43 T ALWAYS have to be in my dreams… i’m too weird! Then, Doris started talking about how she was so sad she couldn’t see Sab that day, and she’d have to meet her later… 43 P too, huh? :P So that was my dream. And I also bought hardwood flooring. Heh.

Today’s was odd…

Imagine being in a fun house… with your family… and then being told to jump on the small circle…

I jumped on the small circle and it bounced me alllll the way over to the big white smiley face circle. The big white smiley face circle bounced me to a different world…

In the different world, it was just me, my brother, my mom, and my Nanny… my dad got lost… and we were looking out from the dock of the bay… Where was my dad? I kept thinking… he was nowhere to be found… then, out of the blue, we saw him behind us… me and my brother ran to get to him first… But we got lost.

Then we were in the park, a lightning storm was coming… we were going everywhere just to find my dad… we couldn’t see him. WHERE WAS HE??? I was clutching my brother by the soccer net… Daddy! DADDY! we were screaming… we were going to be hurt, and my mom and nanny were just watching me and my brother crying and being in pain from the storm and from not having our dad… Then, my dad came and wrapped us into him…

Our dad saved us.

Day 19

I had a dream that I flew… and I flew and i flew. . . and I flew even more.

Day 20

I had a dream I saw J again… and we held eachother so close. I cried in my sleep.

day 14

I was at my friend’s house. But it was another friend’s sleepover. We were playing around and along the way, I lost my shirt… and so I was topless, and her brother who is only one grade younger than me started looking at me and he put a blanket around me. He was being really nice… but creepy at the same time. He’s never nice and always creepy.

day 15

Me and a person named Melinda were talking about something and I figured out she got deleted. I spend wayyyyyyy too much time on the computer… phew.

Day 16

This was a rather sad one… you see, I was at my new school and my friend R and her friend (that i want to get to know) were trying to cheer me up. I was crying on the main staircase and I didn’t know why… but then I saw my mom walk in. She was drunk. She said to me “Katie, I’ll stop, ya know, I just need this.” And I cried even more. R’s friend took her away from me. I cried even more. I want my mom. I need my mom. She’s my hero, and without her I’m nothing. She’s one of the strongest people I know, and the weird thing about this is that this was… weak of her. _{and, no people, she is not an alcoholic}

Day 17

This was a replay of the first day of school. My english teacher told us to visit her webpage on the school site, and I didn’t. But in my dream, I did. And it linked to her My Space, and on her My Space, it linked to an unknown site. I clicked on that too…. and in result I got PORN! Oh my gosh,,, I didn’t see her naked in my dream or anything (EWWWW!!!!!!!) But I just knew she was. Like some sort of subconscious thing. Like I saw her standing in a pose, but I couldn’t see her privates (Thank God!) That was a wacky wacky dream!

In this dream last night, I died my hair orange and red at the top and pink at the bottom, honestly, it looked pretty cool, but it was kinda messed up because I was going to cut it all off… and I was just walking around in my backyard…

This was crazy…

It all started off with me and my brother in New York City… kind of a la War of the Worlds. We couldn’t find my mom or dad… looking everywhere but no sight of them. Then, Evangeline Lilly came and saved us! She said the yellow robot was coming and we had to run away. We started running. But then all of a sudden, the yellow robot came hovering over us and everything was yellow, and sure, they all say your dreams are black and white, but this one was REALLY colored. I sware it was. Then, after the yellow robot and storm left, thinking it got everyone, the only people who emerged, were me, my brother, and Evangeline… heh. Go figure.

So then, we went inside a hotel. We had to eat food and get prepared before the next robot came (purple). I know this sounds bizarre, but water was rising from the street. The water was purple this time. We went into a hotel. We grabbed cans of peas and beans and strapped them to our body. Pretty freakish. Then, we went to the top floor. Evangeline found a single pregnant mother hovering over her two baby twins. She was scared as ever and unsure what would happen. I’ve always read that Miss Lilly is a very kind and sweet person, but never did I really believe it. But in this dream she truly was. The mother wanted her two babies to be safe, so Evangeline took them with her. Because the mother would die here. Evangeline told me and my brother to jump out the building. Because the robots were going to knock it down. I yelled, “YOU WANT US TO DO A SUICIDE JUMP??? WE’RE GOING TO DIE!!!!” She told us to trust her… I thought at this point, we would never see Evangeline again. So, me and my brother saw the robot attacking everyone. We jumped out and miraculously, survive. It was actually really scary besides the fact that everything was purple… Really weird. Morbid actually.

So, at this point, me and my brother are at tears and hugging eachother because we think we’re going to die. We look up to see Evangeline with the two babies in hand. She’s leaning out the window. At this point, the red storm is coming. And as she jumps out, _{which looks like something out of an action movie} she jumps into the pool of red. The water isn’t purple anymore. It’s red. Blood red. Nobody died but no one survived. Really… odd. Like, we were alive, but no one was there. So, we’re swimming with our lives, the babies and Evangeline in tow. It’s kinda frightening how it looks like we are swimming in blood. Then, we are at the corner of New York City and the only one hundred people who survived (there’s tons of people in New york) are crowding around the corner and there’s no escape… Tom Cruise is also there. He dives into the blood red water and pulls a line out… I don’t know what the line was, but it did something. All the water drained out (it was skyscraper height then) and we were back on the ground… me and my brother don’t find our family. :’( but everything’s all right. Evangeline takes care of us until we’re good by ourselves. And all the robots go away.
It was like a re-enactment of War of the Worlds, minus the zapping… I watched it for the first time a few weeks ago. Eek.

I also had my 2nd 43 Things dream in the second day in a row.

This was my first ever 43 Things dream!

and also one of my close friends… I clicked on her homepage, and one of her goals said “Get 46 Teachers to block me.”

You may have seen the BLOCK button, and apparently she had this idea that people like TeacherDee and other 43 Thinger Teachers to block her because she doesn’t like Math… :/

This also had to do with me and Mindy’s
conversation last night. :) About teachers… :P

Today was about my friend who’s on the “curvier” side, and she told one of my friends that she was trying to lose weight… so in my dream school has started and we walk to the bus together each morning… She’s ugly! She is a lot shorter and it looks like she tried to get skinny. And she is, but it doesn’t look right because her bum is really big (in the dream) and then it just goes down her legs and her ankles are twigs… I can’t describe it, but it was like she was striving to be perfect in a world where Barbies are #1… it didn’t fit right on her… but i said she looked good so I wouldn’t hurt her feelings… I would never lie like that in real life… :/

my mom just bought a book called “Back when we were grown ups” by Anne Tyler. In my dream, I was going somewhere with someone, and along the way I told my mom that her book looked boring, which it does. :P

Day 1- Skeletons
What happened in my dream was that me and the cast from the N show The Best Years were at a cabin in northern Pennsylvania and one of the main characters was turned into a skeleton! The rest of the cast and I ran out and sat on some white plastic chairs. One of the other characters was turned into a skeleton. It was very strange. I woke up right after that and I went to a race. The dream was very confooziingfull.

Day 2-Disney stars go whale hunting
I had the STRANGEST dream last night. I find myself gone to a movie. I see two cast members of Degrassi in the back of a movie theater. I’m stuck in the front with two of the most hated people in the school. I get out of the theater and the two cast members are trying to apologize to me. I lose them and as I’m walking out I breifly see one of my friends with a girl I don’t like. Then, as I walk out I see my OTHER friend leaning against my dad’s van and my dad in the front. And a bunch of jocks from my school in the back. One of the jocks makes a joke about my friend leaning against the van and my dad laughs. He takes us to the park. The jocks leave. And I run back and forth and back and forth one of the soccer fields. Then I run into a bunch of different friends. We are all swinging from the monkey bars talking about the new Harry Potter book and how we hope the ending isn’t true. Ect ect… Then, we leave and go to a hotel. Me and my friend were collecting feathers and shells for our “blue-bird nest” and as we were many people said that the whale hunting was starting. So we went to the pool (because this was inside a hotel) and I saw many Disney Channel Stars there including Hannah Montana, Zack & Cody, and London Tipton. There was a sign that said “No blue bird nests allowed during whale hunting” but me and my friend brought ours anyways… there were no whales at first so we went back to our room which turned into a mini apartment in Canada!!! Oh my! I told my friend’s parents that I want a house like this because it’s very artsy and down to earth. After we dropped off our blue bird nests, we went back down to the pool. Cody from The Suite Life of Zack & Cody was acting very bossy and mean. He kept telling us what to do and said if we did he’d give us a ticket. So, this all ended up with him saying that we all need eachother and that we should work together with the war! There’s a war in the pool???? That was basically it… Very confoozingfull. I have no clue what this dream means, besides the fact that I AM going to a hotel with my friends soon, and I DID watch a few Disney shows last night with my brother, and that I WILL be reading Harry Potter in no time. But still, it was a verrrry strange dream.

Day 3- Shorter
This previous night I had a once more odd dream. It was my first day of 8th grade and we had a class called “Hobbies” in the 7th grade office. So I go in and there’s only 3 seats. I sit down in the middle one. A boy from my 6th grade class sits to my right and no one sits to my right. Some stranger comes in and asks us what our hobby is. I say “making movies” and I don’t remember what he says… It’s all a blur from there. But what I find strange is that I was back-tracking grades. 8th to 7th to 6th. Maybe the third person was in my 5th grade class??? Well, I’m pretty sure this means that I want to stay a kid instead of esculating to higher grades. Which is very true.

Day 4- Yellow and Purple Lava
This was just way too confusing. I have no clue where I was, i think it might have been this one city like New York, but anyways…. Me and two other unidentified girls were trying to run away from the “Ant Colony” that is what the people there called the city. We were running away from them because we hated the same routine and the lava. So, as we were trying to hop over the fence to get away, my mom and the mayor catches me but the other girls are still trying to get over the fence. My mom and the mayor are asking me things like “why did you want to leave?” and I say “I’m tired of lava” and then they say “But lava is fun and exciting.” It basically goes back and forth like that. But then I see Gatorade and I take it and run over to the fence, but then my dad catches me before I get there. And I thank the Gatorade….. my dad starts yelling “the yellow lava is coming down here from the left, and the purple lava is coming down here from the right!” At first everyone doesn’t care but then, apparently, we all realize that the yellow lava and purple lava are enemies and if they meet we’ll all explode!!! I find this sooo hilarious… as I was saying, now the mayor, my mom and my dad are trying to get everyone over the fence so we don’t explode. And the two girls are still trying, but since everyone is going where they are going they come back because they still don’t want to be around them… And then what happens is that me and the two girls go different ways to stop the lava. One of the girls goes towards the yellow lava and the other one goes towards the purple lava. Now, I am left standing in the center of the Ant Colony. I talk to my mom and tell her I’ll be okay. We hug and she leaves. Soon, the girls both come screaming down the different hills saying that it’s coming. We go over to the fence. We can’t get over but one of the girls pushes me over and the other too. The other one stands on my shoulders to try to pull her up. We do right as the lava meets. Suddenly, we are all miniature and ant size. The rest of the people are nowhere to be found. We are on our own. This is what I find odd. In the beginning, we were the ones who wanted to get away and we were happy about that. But now in the end, the others ran away from us. And we are sad about that… I know what this means. I actually do. Not the whole being-small-yellow-and-purple-lava-part but I get the running away. Recently, I’ve been wanting an escape, to get away from my home and I considered running away. This dream showed me that that is not the way I should handle things! Wow. I cannot believe that something as stupid as all of that actually comes out and means something. That’s shocking.

Day 5- Orchestration
This was weird… all I really remember was being in the high school orchestra room and getting out for the year. Then, my friend walked down one staircase and I walked down the slower and the slower turned out to be the faster one and it was funny because I kept waving to my friend. But, then every staircase I fell down on it, on my bum. It was quite strange…anyways, nothing much else happened besides the fact that one my orchestra pieces was playing the entire time. And i usually dream in black and white, but I’m POSITIVE that this time I dreamt in color no matter how many people tell me otherwise. I wonder what the whole, sliding down the steps on my bum means? Hmm.

Day 6- PB & Monster
Okay, this is probablly one of the weirdest yet. My mom was asked “Do you want to go to Canada, or to Hawaii?” And my mom said Hawaii even though I want to go to Canada this summer in real life. So then, we were asked which boat. And my mom said the mini raft. And it was super small! We kept crashing into bigger boats and I got mad at my mom telling her that if we went to Canada this wouldn’t have happened. So, when we got to Hawaii everything was peanut butter! The beds were made of it, the streets were made of it, the PEOPLE were made of it! It was really strange. So that night when I went to sleep in my dream, some monster knocked on my door and asked me to dance. I said yes. As we were dancing I leaned on the monster’s chest. Which was made of peanut butter… And his chest started to swallow me whole! I was yelling and yelling for help, and I got it! After that we went home and I told my mom “If we went to Canada nothing bad like that would’ve happened!” So, confusing though.

Day 7- Waiting in Louisiana
All I really remember from this mini dream was going into an italian / fast food restaurant and asking for a job. They gave me a hat and some big guy told me to put bags of rice on each table…. Suspicioussssss… And then after that was done, my mom came in and started yelling at me about how she doesn’t want me to be in the service industry. Which is kinda weird because I know that she was in that industry once. Hehe. Oh, and it was in Louisiana and I was a movie star.

Day 8-Butterfly Boozle
I was talking to somebody on the patio, and my dog came up to me and she had a black tatoo on her nose. It was a butterfly, but it looked like a huge big blob… :( Poop Boozle. (my dog’s name) and she was sad too… :( but she looked happy…
