try volunteering

I have not had a chance to go and see them yet, so i called again just to make sure everything was all good, however the guy is now on holidays! He will be back next week, however i am Training in Toowooomba and Wont be able to go till the week after. Sheesh!

I called the guy from the Museum today and he told me to come into tomorrow and have a chat to the guy that looks after the volunteers. He did mention that they were specifically looking for helpers on Sunday, so this is looking good. Will let you know how i go!

The museum called me today and left a message!! They want me to come in for a chat, but it has to be during the week. I should be able to go during my Lunch Break on Wednesday as i am in the city anyway, soooo will let you all know how it goes!!!

Just applied for the position at the Museum. Hopefully they will get back to me and let me know soon. If they do not want me i will look into Drug Arm, but that is a lot of responsibility and a lot of training involved. I would rather try something a bit ‘easier’ first then maybe give Drug Arm a try.

Tishan suggested that she was going to look into volunteering and i thought it was a great idea and i should look into this. I have found a pretty good job at the Macarthur Museum in Brisbane and i was thinking of applying for it. The hours are pretty good Sun 10 to 3 and i could do it once a month.
