Learn to appreciate country music

i think that country music is good in small doses. i do appreciate it much more than i did though! so thanks to everybody for the suggestions!

Something about being in the military, maybe, but I’ve acquired a taste for it here that I couldn’t back home.

being born in rural ohio and having gone to college in texas, i was pretty proud of myself for how long i’ve managed to avoid country music. the biggest reason i didn’t listen to it was because i thought if i liked it i’d be like everyone else and never get out of ohio. but now that i’m far removed from the midwest, i think it’s safe for me to go back to my roots and see what i’ve been missing.
