Make a regular time to do my Journaleers homework

I’m no closer to making any progress on this and the Journaleers group no longer issues homework, so I think it’s time to call this quits. I’d still like to get to the backlog some time, but just not at the moment.

So far, so good. I managed the homework this week, the one I set as the substitute teacher. Now I’d like to start working on catching up on the other exercises from this year.

When the year started, I thought that I’d finally get my Journaleers homework done every week, particularly since I wasn’t at uni anymore. It seems I was wrong.

I am substitute teaching the group virtually this week and it has been a good incentive. I made a record of all the homework exercises I haven’t done yet.

Now it’s a matter of doing them. We’ll see how it goes.

My attention has been elsewhere lately. Nor do I think I’m ready to get back to it. I’m not giving up though. Everything in its own time.

This is not happening. I’m going to have to reschedule. I’m thinking I’ll cut back on my writing for an hour on Fridays and fit it in there. Guess we’ll see how it goes.

Had a bit of a setback on this goal this week. I adjusted my schedule to fit in three hours of writing a day and as a result this suffered. I’ll give it another week with the current schedule and if it’s still not working I’ll look at changing the time I usually do this.

It worked for me this week. I saw the little note I’d made for myself and prompty went off and did my homework. I’m starting to think this will hold.

I’ve sent myself a little reminder for a month’s time. If things are still going well by then I’ll mark this off.

Wednesday is the day for this. So far, so good. I got it done this week. I’ll give it a couple more weeks to see if the habit holds.
