Have a Bookcrossing stakeout

I finally made time to do this today. I left a copy of The Hours by Michael Cunningham on a table in front of a sushi shop during lunch hour while I sat inside and had lunch.

I watched so many people walk past it! Some stopped to look, but didn’t pick it up, but most didn’t notice at all. It was still there by the time I had to leave.

I was reminded that Bookcrossing is about letting go, so I’m not going to get caught up in making sure a book is picked up. Better just to let go.
