I downgraded this goal from “unpack” to simply removing my stuff from its inconvenient placement in my parents’ guest room. I’d been so busy at my job that I had only partially unpacked, after two and a half years. I had six boxes remaining to be unpacked, and had disgorged the contents of three of those boxes onto the bed. My parents need their guest room, though, so I dumped all the stuff on the bed back into the boxes, and shoved everything away. Oh, well. Will unpack later, perhaps in eight to ten years’ time.
