Worth doing!

was one of my top favorites. The footage is amazing. :) But the entire series is honestly incredible. The equipment they used to get some of the images they were able to capture is so awesome. I love watching Planet Earth…probably an episode a week on average. I re watch them over and over again because I always seem to catch things that I didn’t the previous times around.

Amazing. This one has unbelievable amazing footage of great white sharks and sea snakes! Another favorite!

omg the poor photographer stuck in the hide waiting for the darn birds of paradise to attract a female….5 weeks?? 10 hours a day for 5 weeks before there was any action?? Unbelievable.

Watched Great Plains last night....  — 1 month ago

...a little too much “circle of life” stuff in this one for me. Maybe it was just my mood, but the plains are a particularly brutal environment. Although, there was some comic relief with the baboons. It was very well done, but just not my favorite.

Phenomenal.....  — 3 months ago

....is the word I’d choose to describe Ice Worlds. The diaries showed yet another challenging environment to capture for these programs. Especially those hungry male polar bears!

That finishes up the disk, so its back to Netflix and I’ll anxiousy await the next episodes!

One more disk to go!  — 3 months ago

I only have the last disk to watch.

Watches Caves last night.....  — 3 months ago

.....it was really amazing, especially the “how they filmed it” footage at the end. Those guys go to phenomenal lengths to get these critters on film. Cockroaches down their necks and through the seams in their suits. Not to mention they are waist deep in bat feces…..ewwwww. Definitely worthy of a “Dirty Jobs” guest spot!

Worth doing!

I finally finished the last episode. It was all so good. Plus, a double check off, here on 43T and Lists of Bests.

episode a couple days ago. After my exams are over next week I plan on watching an episode a day (or thereabouts).
