Patty watching my little daughter
It was very hard on the beginning. I had problems (with the amount, I think) and certain people told me I’m not gonna breast feeding. I was almost forced to include the bottle, once a day. It was terrible for me. But everything changed after I stopped worrying about it and agreed with the bottle. In a short time I got plenty of milk and soon no bottle was necessary, except for my departures. I also thought that I will breast feed to spite those who didn’t believe in me (mother-in-law etc), and this “noble” reason;) worked.
Now my Ami has over 5 months, she eats some “pulps”, but I keep feed her. I want to do this till she’s 12 months.

Llh is missing our bird of paradise
almost there
but not really. Due to the heavy medication I have to take for a while, I had to quit. So I had to wean him a bit earlier than his sister: I breastfed him over a year, so I consider this goal to be fulfilled. I’ll give myself a pat on the back ;-)

She’s only 23 months, so I haven’t even managed the two year minimum yet, and I’m afraid she’s going to wean because I’m pregnant. I always swore I’d let my children self-wean and it’s not self-weaning if she gives up because of a drop in supply.
I suppose I’ll find out in August when the new baby is born. If she latches back on, then all will be well. Otherwise, I’ve forced early weaning through not keeping my supply up.
Time to increase my oatmeal intake.

SOOO worth it. Very healthy for baby, and she weaned herself at the perfect time.
