I’d love to see a big band like Muse play, or any band really. Will have to get over worrying that I’ll lose people in the crowds/general claustrophobia first though. Hopefully I can find some smaller venue gigs and start building up from there.

How I did it: I just bought a ticket and actually went with my mom. It was good times, louder than I expected (as we weren't exactly in first row). Wow enjoyed it as much as I did. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Had a job to buy the tickets with and a nice sister/BF who bought me Pink Floyd laser light tickets for my birthday one year! Going to festivals like Warped Tour (went 4 years in a row) and Ozzfest give you many bands for the buck. Also the local radio station has a "Buzzfest," in which I got to see my favorite band ever- Smashing Pumpkins-live! Read how I did it…

How I did it: I went to a Rush concert in September 2007, with some friends. We went again in June of 2008. Hopefully, Rush are still going to tour in 2009; there are rumors of a deep-cut tour coming up soon! Read how I did it…

How I did it: I was 16 and my friend told me of a concert that we were able to get in for free. It was a great experience and enjoyed a wonderful evening with a dear friend. Read how I did it…

How I did it: My friend invited me, and seeing as I had never been to a rock concert before, I decided I had better go. It was fairly loud, and I was in a box. I do not enjoy loud noises or heavy bass or strange people touching me, so I'm very glad I was not in the mosh pit. I couldn't make out the words to most of the songs, and I was positive that the bands all said, "This is the best crowd ever!" to every crowd, which annoyed me. I got free food, th… Read how I did it…

I’m 22 almost 23 years old and somehow I’ve never been to a rock concert. It’s sad and I must change it.
and I haven’t been to a concert in approx. 20 thousand years.
I have in mind a big-scale concert rather than a smaller show (been to more of those in my life), but either one is possible really!
I’ve been into rock music for a few years now, so I’ve been to a few rock concerts. Linkin Park, Nine Black Alps (3 times), Idiot Pilot, Guns N’ Roses (without Slash etc, but I saw Velvet Revolver at Download), Download festival 2007… to name a few! I’m going to see Opeth later this month!
Woooot!! I can’t believe I actually had a chance to go to one, but it happened! I went to Iron Maiden concert a couple of days ago and it was absolutely fantastic!! I don’t really remember half of it, though, I was too excited at the time, but I remember being very, very happy! Definitely worth doing, even worth lots and lots of pain that I still feel in my legs, even days later XD

Yesterday I was on a rock concert of one of my favourite’s rock bands. It was great :). I missed the chance to meet them last time they were in town, it was more than a month. But I can’t believe that they are back. It is all because of me :P It’s not true, but I am so happy that they came. Sometimes all you need is to believe that things happened. :)

Live gigs are what keep me sane, and there is nothing like it, you have to try it at least once.
Concerts/shows are SO much fun (I mean providing you’re into the music).
It’s fun getting to be front row and seeing your favorite band, or a band you like, and screa & sing along… It’s pretty fun getting pushed around and being able to go a bit wild, as long as you come out without a bloody nose or a broken rib! But that’s never garunteed! Lol, but usually injuries aren’t THAT common.
It’s a good time- GO!

First of all, I learned the valuable lesson that although the concert begins at a certain time, the main act might not come onstage until hours later after the opening acts have performed. Next time, I’ll know and plan accordingly.
Also, I was disappointed that they played mostly their new songs and not the old ones I know and love. I generally don’t like new things. I only try new things because I know in time I may come to like them, but I don’t usually like them at first. I just didn’t feel like it was worth paying that much money to listen to songs I don’t care for (yet). Even if they had played the songs I like (which they did, a few,) I still think it would have been more effective to buy a couple of their CDs to listen to in the comfort of my own home (what can I say, I’m an introvert.)
